Deadline reports that Sheila Vand has landed herself a series regular role opposite Corey Hawkins in the upcoming FOX pilot 24: Legacy.
The premise of the pilot is chronicling the return of military hero, Eric Carter, to the U.S and trouble follows him back, compelling him to ask CTU for help in saving his life, and stopping what potentially could be one of the largest-scale terror attacks on American soil.
Sheila Vand (Argo, A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night and State of Affairs) will be playing the role of Nilaa, the campaign director for Senator John Donovan who is driven and bright and will not take a back seat to the judgement of Donovan’s wife Rebecca.
Sheila Vand will be joining a cast that includes Corey Hawkins (Eric Carter), Miranda Otto (Rebecca Ingram), Anna Diop (Nicole Carter), Teddy Sears (Keith Mullins), Jimmy Smits (John Donovan), Dan Bucatinsky (Andy), Coral Pena (Gia), Charlie Hofheimer (Marcus) and Ashley Thomas (Isaac Carter).
