24 Legacy: Anna Diop Joins Cast As Series Regular

Fox has added The Messengers Anna Diop to the cast of 24: Legacy that includes Corey Hawkins and Miranda Otto for the pilot that could potentially reboot the 24 franchise.

 

The premise of 24: Legacy is chronicling the return of military hero, Eric Carter, to the U.S and trouble follows him back, compelling him to ask CTU for help in saving his life, and stopping what potentially could be one of the largest-scale terror attacks on American soil.

 

Corey Hawkins (Straight Outta Compton/The Walking Dead) is cast in the lead role as Eric Carter, with Miranda Otto (The Lord of the Rings: Two Towers and The Return of the King) will be playing Rebecca Ingram, a smart former head of CTU that is now married to Senator John Donovan (not yet cast) and is is struggling with second thoughts about having left the counterterrorism agency and now Anna Diop will be playing the role of Nicole Carter, wife of Eric Carter and Deadline reports that its set to be a significant role for the actress.
