The Falcon And The Winter Soldier: Carl Lumbly Joins Cast For Marvel Series At Disney+

Deadline is reporting that Carl Lumbly is the latest name to join the cast of the upcoming Disney+ Marvel series The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.

 

Falcon & Winter Soldier will see Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan reprise the roles of Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes, with the main plot of the series being kept under wraps.

 

The report doesn’t state what role Carl Lumbly (whose recent credits include Supergirl and Doctor Sleep) will be playing in the series, but there is speculation online that he could be playing the role of Isaiah Bradley, aka the “black Captain America.”

 

The miniseries is written by Malcolm Spellman and Lumbly will join a cast that includes Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Daniel Brühl, Emily VanCamp, Wyatt Russell, Desmond Chiam, Miki Ishikawa and Noah Mills.

 

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will be available on the streaming service in August 2020.
