Seance: Suki Waterhouse To Star In Horror Film

Deadline is reporting that Suki Waterhouse is set to star in Simon Barrett’s upcoming horror film Seance.

Seance is set in an all-girls boarding school which is haunted by a vengeful spirit, with the film following Camille, a young woman who arrives at the Fairfield Academy following one of the student’s untimely and violent death.

Suki Waterhouse (whose recent credits include Assassination Nation and Pokemon Detective Pikachu) will be playing the role of Camille.

The film is being fully funded by Dark Castle Entertainment, HanWay Films and Ingenious Media, with HanWay and Ingenious co-producing the project alongside Addictive Picture’s John Schoenfelder, Russell Ackerman, Tomas Deckaj and Alex Mace. Hal Sadoff will also serve as executive producer under the Dark Castle banner.

Speaking about the project, Hal Sadoff said:

We are thrilled to be working with Simon Barrett and to partner with HanWay and Ingenious on this exciting and clever horror tale. Suki Waterhouse is the perfect actor to bring this scary story to life.

Dark Castle and HanWay Films have retained worldwide rights to the project and are set to commence sales at the upcoming American Film Market. The film is currently in pre-production and will begin shooting on location in Canada next month.
