Bad Boys 4 Life: Vanessa Hudgens, Charles Melton And Alexander Ludwig Join Cast

Variety is exclusively reporting that Vanessa Hudgens, Charles Melton and Alexander Ludwig are the latest names to join the cast for the upcoming Bad Boys sequel, Bad Boys 4 Life.

 

The Bad Boys films focuses on two Miami Detectives, Marcus Bennett (Martin Lawrence) and Mike Lowry (Will Smith), with the first film released in 1995 making $141m worldwide and the second film released in 2003 making $273m.

 

The report states that the trio will be playing the roles of a modern, highly specialised police unit that collides with the old school Bad Boys when a new threat emerges in Miami. Sources also tell Variety that Smith and Lawrence have been doing chemistry tests with talent for four new roles and the lost slot open now is to play the role of the films main antagonist. Also returning alongside the original leads is Joe Pantoliano.

 

It was announced back in February that Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah were attached to direct the film and the main premise of the film is still being kept under wraps.

 

Bad Boys 4 Life is currently scheduled for cinematic release on the 17th January 2020.
