Snowpiercer: Sean Bean Lands Series Regular Role For Season 2


With its first season not premiering till Spring 2020, Deadline is exclusively reporting that Sean Bean has signed up for a series regular for the second season of the TNT series adaptation of Snowpiercer.

 

The official synopsis for the series is as follows:

Set more than seven years after the world has become a frozen wasteland Snowpiercer centers on the remnants of humanity, who inhabit a 1001 car, perpetually-moving train that circles the globe. Class warfare, social injustice and the politics of survival play out in this riveting television adaptation based on the acclaimed movie and graphic novel series of the same name.

 

Sean Bean’s (whose recent credits include Curfew and World On Fire) role are currently being kept under wraps, we do know of the original cast for the first season that Steven Ogg and Rowan Blanchard have been promoted to series regulars for the second season.
