Deadline is reporting that the Paramount Network have renewed Taylor Sheridan’s drama series Yellowstone for a third season, with Josh Holloway just signed up for a major recurring role.
The official synopsis for Yellowstone is as follows:
Yellowstone follows the violent world of the Dutton family, who controls the largest contiguous ranch in the United States. Led by their patriarch John Dutton, the family defends their property against constant attack by land developers, an Indian reservation, and America’s first National Park.
The second season has yet to premier yet, though it will do on Paramount Network on the 19th June 2019. Josh Holloway (whose credits include LOST and Colony) will have a season-long arc in season three playing the role of Roarke Carter, a handsome, shaggy-haired hedge fund manager with ambitious plans in Montana.
