John Wick: Chapter Four Scheduled For 2021 Cinematic Release

Lionsgate have announced that they will be making a fourth installment in the John Wick franchise and have it scheduled for cinematic release on the 21st May 2021.


Media outlets are reporting that the studio made the announcement via text message to fans, saying:

You have served. You will be of service. John Wick: Chapter 4 is coming – May 21, 2021.


The third installment, Chapter Three – Parabellum, sees skilled assassin John Wick on the run for his life after killing a member of the shadowy international assassin’s guild known as The High Table, leaving John excommunicated and, with a $14m bounty on his head, being hunted by the most ruthless assassins.


John Wick: Chapter Three – Parabellum has had a big opening weekend, earning over $56m at the US box office, after being predicted to earn something in the $30-35m range. To put it into perspective, the first John Wick film earned $14.4m on it’s weekend debut and John Wick: Chapter Two earned $30.4m. John Wick: Chapter Three has so far made over $93m worldwide.


John Wick: Chapter Three – Parabellum stars Keanu Reeves, Halle Berry, Laurence Fishburne, Mark Dacascos, Asia Kate Dillon, Ian McShane, Lance Reddick, Anjelica Houston, Saïd Taghmaoui, Jason Mantzoukas, Robin Lord Taylor, Jerome Flynn, Tobias Segal, Boban Marjanović, Arjon Bashiri, Yayan Ruhian, Cecep Arif Rahman, Tiger Chen, Vladimir Mihailov, Vlado Mihailov, Danish Bhatt and Candace M. Smith.
