Variety is exclusively reporting that Famke Janssen is the latest name to join the cast for the thriller The Postcard Killings, whilst also releasing a first look image from the film.
The Postcard Killings focuses on a New York detective whose life is thrown into turmoil when he learns that his daughter and son-in-law have been brutally murdered in London. As he digs into the case, similar crimes are reported across Europe with each killing accompanied by a postcard sent to a local journalist.
The report states that Jamke Janssen (whose recent credits include The Blacklist: Redemption and When They See Us) will be playing the role of Valerie Kanon, the mother of their now deceased daughter.
The film is adapting the bestseller titled The Postcard Killers from James Patterson and Liza Marklund, with Janusz Kaminski directing. Production is set to commence shortly with the film shooting in London, Norway and Stockholm.
