Cassian Andor: Alan Tudyk To Reprise K-2SO Role For Live-Action Star Wars Series

It was revealed at Disney’s Investors Day by Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy that Alan Tudyk will be reprising his Rogue One role of droid K-2SO for the upcoming Star Wars live-action series on Disney+ focusing on Cassian Andor.

The series is set to follow the adventures of rebel spy Cassian Andor during the formative years of the Rebellion prior to events of Rogue One. The spy thriller will explore tales filled with espionage and daring missions to restore hope to a galaxy in the grip of a ruthless Empire.

It was reported back in November last year that the series was in development and Diego Luna would be reprising the role of Andor.

Talking about the project, Kennedy said:

It will be a thrilling spy series set in the Star Wars universe.

Production is set to start next year, with no release date as of yet.
