Black Widow: David Harbour Joins Cast For Marvel Studios Film

The Hollywood Reporter is exclusively reporting that David Harbour is the latest name to join the cast of the Black Widow standalone film from Marvel Studios.

While plot details for the standalone film are being kept under wraps, it’s believed it will be an internationally set story focusing on Natasha Romanoff, a spy and assassin who grew up being trained by the KGB before breaking from their grasp and becoming an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D and an Avenger.

The report states that David Harbour’s (whose credits include Stranger Things and Hellboy) role is being kept under wraps.

The most recent draft of the script was written by Jac Schaeffer and Australian filmmaker Cate Shortland is attached to direct the project and Harbour will be joining a cast that includes Scarlett Johansson and Florence Pugh.
