Marvel’s Runaways: Renewed For A Third Season At Hulu

Media outlets are reporting that Hulu have renewed Marvel’s Runaways for a third season.

Runaways focuses on six teenagers – Nico Minoru, Karolina Dean, Molly Hernandez, Chase Stein, Alex Wilder and Gertrude Yorkes – who can barely stand one another but one night they discover that their parents are secretly members of a supervillain group called The Pride. The second season sees the Runaways scavenging for food and search for shelter after leaving their homes and evil parents behind. As they realise that, for better or worse, they’re stuck with each other and it’s up to them to take down the Pride once and for all, someone sent a mysterious message to Jonah…is there a mole in the Runaways? As the Pride are focused on finding their children, Jonah has his own dangerous plan in mind.

Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, showrunners and writers of the series, released a statement saying:

We are so excited to tell more Runaways stories and are so grateful to Marvel, Hulu, our amazing cast and crew and of course our passionate audience. Season three will be a magical time on Runaways, as we deepen our connection to the Marvel universe. We are honored to continue to play in the sandbox created by Brian K Vaughn and Adrian Alphona.

Marvel’s Head of Television, Jeph Loeb, added:

Thank you, Hulu! We’re thrilled that Marvel’s Runaways is back for its third season. Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage and the amazing writers have something epic in store for our terrific cast.
