Dora And The Lost City Of Gold: First Poster For Dora The Explorer Film Released Online


Paramount Pictures have released the first poster for upcoming film Dora And The Lost City Of Gold, based on the popular Nick Jr. animated series Dora The Explorer.

 

The official synopsis for the film is as follows:

Having spent most of her life exploring the jungle with her parents, nothing could prepare Dora for her most dangerous adventure ever – High School. Always the explorer, Dora quickly finds herself leading Boots (her best friend, a monkey), Diego, a mysterious jungle inhabitant, and a rag tag group of teens on a live-action adventure to save her parents and solve the impossible mystery behind a lost city of gold.

 

The animated series was hugely popular, running for 172 episodes between 2000 to 2014, even winning a Peabody award.

 

The film is being directed by James Bobin and stars Isabela Moner, Jeffrey Wahlberg, Madelyn Miranda, Malachi Barton, Eugenio Derbez, Michael Peña, Eva Longoria, Benicio del Toro, Temuera Morrison, Adriana Barraza, Pia Miller, Q’orianka Kilcher, Madeline Madden, Nicholas Coombe and Danny Trejo.

 

Dora And The Lost City Of Gold is scheduled for cinematic release on the 2nd August 2019.
