This Is Us: Melanie Liburd Upped To Series Regular For Season 3


The Hollywood Reporter is exclusively reporting that Melanie Liburd has been promoted to series regular for the upcoming third season of NBC drama series This Is Us.

 

This Is Us follows the lives of Jack and Rebecca Pearson and their three siblings, Kevin, Kate and Randall (aka The Big Three), with stories stories being told at various times through the present and flashbacks.

 

Melanie Liburd (whose credits include Dark Matter and Gypsy) appeared in the season two finale as Zoe, Beth’s cousin and Kevin’s girlfriend, and will have a key part to play in the upcoming third season as the two of them travel to Vietnam. Series creator Dan Fogelman has stated previously that the third season will explore Jack’s experience in Vietnam and we are aware that Nicky died in the war, though the how is a mystery, which will potentially be explored in this upcoming season.

 

The third season of This Is Us stars Mandy Moore, Milo Ventimiglia, Sterling K. Brown, Justin Hartley, Chrissy Metz, Susan Kelechi Watson, Chris Sullivan, Jane Kaczmarek, Rob Morgan and Michael Angarno.
