Media outlets are reporting that Paramount Network has renewed Taylor Sheridan’s drama series Yellowstone for a second season.
The official synopsis for Yellowstone is as follows:
Yellowstone follows the violent world of the Dutton family, who controls the largest contiguous ranch in the United States. Led by their patriarch John Dutton, the family defends their property against constant attack by land developers, an Indian reservation, and America’s first National Park.
Paramount has given it a ten-episode order for its second season, which will be shot entirely on location in Utah and Montana. Following it’s 5.3m viewing premiere, the series has gone on to become cable’s most-watched series behind The Walking Dead, according to the network and Nielsen.
Yellowstone stars Kevin Costner, Wes Bentley, Kelly Reilly, Luke Grimes, Cole Hauser, Kelsey Chow, Dave Annable, Gil Birmingham, Jefferson White and Barret Swatek.
