Bohemian Rhapsody: Teaser Trailer Released Online

20th Century Fox has released a teaser trailer for musical drama Bohemian Rhapsody, charting the rise of legendary rock band Queen.

The official synopsis for the film is as follows:

Bohemian Rhapsody is a foot-stomping celebration of Queen, their music and their extraordinary lead singer Freddie Mercury, who defied stereotypes and shattered convention to become one of the most beloved entertainers on the planet. The film traces the meteoric rise of the band through their iconic songs and revolutionary sound, their near-implosion as Mercury’s lifestyle spirals out of control, and their triumphant reunion on the eve of Live Aid, where Mercury, facing a life-threatening illness, leads the band in one of the greatest performances in the history of rock music. In the process, cementing the legacy of a band that were always more like a family, and who continue to inspire outsiders, dreamers and music lovers to this day.

Bohemian Rhapsody is a film that’s been in the works for longer than I can remember and this teaser definitely shows us that we will be getting plenty of footage of the band performing and….in terms of an arc? No idea yet, mainly this teaser was to wet your appetite and give you a brief glimpse into Rami Malek’s performance as Freddie Mercury.

Bohemian Rhapsody stars Rami Malek, Ben Hardy, Gwilym Lee, Joseph Mazzello, Allen Leech, Lucy Boynton, Mike Myers, Aaron McCusker, Aidan Gillen, Tom Hollander, Dermot Murphy, Meneka Das, Ace Bhatti, Dickie Beau, Neil Fox-Roberts, Philip Andrew, Matthew Houston and Michelle Duncan.

Bohemian Rhapsody is scheduled for cinematic release on the 2nd November 2018.
