Media outlets are reporting that Jes Macallan has signed up for a recurring role in CW’s superhero drama DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
The third season picks up after the events of the second season in which the Legends defeated Eobard Thawne and the Legion of Doom and now face a new threat. In revisiting a certain moment in time they have previously participated in, they have now fractured the timeline and created anachronisms – a scattering of people, animals and objects across all of time. Now they must find a way to return all the anachronisms to their original timelines before the time stream falls apart.
The reports state that Jes Macallan (whose credits include Justified and Mistresses) will be playing the role of Special Agent Ava Sharpe, a hard working agent for a secret branch of the Federal Government (the Time Bureau) dedicated to the regulation of time-travel and the protection of history. She is very smart and incredibly ambitious and always believes she is the smartest person in the room. She is often quite ruthless in obtaining her goals and her drive for perfection has left many discarded friendships, and relationships, in her wake.
Jes Macallan will be joining stars Brandon Routh, Victor Garber, Arthur Darvill, Dominic Purcell, Caity Lotz, Franz Drameh, Nick Zano, Amy Pemberton and Maisie Richardson-Sellers and new cast member Tala Ashe.
