Six: Nikolai Nikolaeff And Katherine Evans Join Cast For Season 2


Deadline is reporting that Nikolai Nikolaeff and Katherine Evans will be joining the cast of History’s upcoming second season of Six.

 

The first season has us following members of Navy SEAL Team Six, whose covert mission to eliminate a Taliban leader in Afghanistan goes awry when they uncover a U.S citizen working with terrorists. Then, former SEAL Team Six troop leader, Richard ‘Rip’ Taggart is captured by Boko Haram and it’s up to his former SEAL Team Six brothers to put their differences aside to locate and rescue their former troop leader.

 

Nikolai Nikolaeff (whose credits include Daredevil and The OA) will have a series regular part, playing the role of Tamerlin Shishoni, a charismatic and ruthless Chechen/Jihadi mastermind. Katherine Evans (whose credits include The Killing and The Delicate Art of Puppetry) will have a recurring part, playing the role of Marissa, a young woman who finds herself at odds with the Seal Team.

 

The same report states that Jaylen Moore, who recurring in the first season, has been promoted to series regular status for the second season as Armin “Fishbait” Khan, a first-generation Afghan American. He’s the team sniper who is also relied upon for his fluency in several Middle Eastern languages. A practicing Muslim, he’s fierce in his defense of the country that gave safety and opportunity to him and his family.

 

Nikolaeff and Evans will be joining original cast members Walton Goggins, Barry Sloane, Kyle Schmid, Juan Pablo Raba, Edwin Hodge, Brianne Davis, Nadine Velazquez, Dominic Adams, Jaylen Moore and Lindsley Register, as well as newcomers Eric Ladin and Olivia Munn.
