The Expanse: Elizabeth Mitchell To Guest Star For Season 3

It was revealed at The Expanse panel at San Diego Comic Con that Elizabeth Mitchell has signed up for a guest starring role for the upcoming third season.

The Expanse is a series based on the best-selling book series of the same name by Daniel Abraham and Ty Franck. The story unfolds across a colonised galaxy 200 years in the future, when two strangers become unwittingly swept up in a vast conspiracy.

They didn’t state what role Elizabeth Mitchell (whose credits include LOST and Dead of Summer) will have on the show.  The third season will be another 13-episode run and will be out sometime in 2018. Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby serve as showrunners on the series and also executive produce alongside Naren Shankar. The Expanse stars Steven Strait, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Dominique Tipper, Cas Anvar, Wes Chatham, Frankie Adams and Thomas Jane. Elizabeth Mitchell will be joining recently cast David Strathairn.
