Arrow: Michael Emerson Lands Recurring Role For Season 6

It was announced during the CW/DC Series Arrow panel at San Diego Comic Con that Michael Emerson has signed for a recurring role for the upcoming sixth season.

Arrow focuses on DC character Oliver Queen, who returns to Star City/Starling City after being stranded on a hostile island for five years and returns home to fight crime and corruption as a secret vigilante.

It wasn’t revealed as to who Michael Emerson (whose credits include LOST and Person of Interest) will be playing on the show, but it was confirmed that in the upcoming season we’ll see the return of David Nykl as Anatoly Knyazev, Oliver Queen’s old friend now turned nemesis.

Arrow stars Stephen Amell, David Ramsey, Willa Holland, Paul Blackthorne, Emily Bett Rickards and Echo Kellum, while the sixth season will have Rick Gonzalez, Juliana Harkavy and the returning Katie Cassidy upgraded to series regulars. Manu Bennett will also be returning for season 6.
