Deadline is reporting that Jerry Ferrara, Jesse Bradford and Todd Lowe have joined Shooter for recurring roles for the shows upcoming second season.
The first season had us following Bob Lee Swagger, a highly decorated veteran who is coaxed back into action to prevent a plot to kill the President. When Swagger’s former commanding officer, Isaac Johnson, solicits his expertise for a clandestine operation, Swagger discovers that he has been framed and must do everything in his power to protect his family and clear his name.
Jerry Ferrera (whose credits include Entourage and Power) will be playing the role of Kirk Zehnder, a former marine who always detects a conspiracy and is part of the core team of Bob Lee Swagger. Jesse Bradford (whose credits include Flags of Our Fathers and Code Black) will be playing the role of Harris Downey, a D.C. Staffer and love interest for Nadine Memphis. Todd Lowe (whose credits include Ave 43 and True Blood) will be playing the role of Colin Dobbs, a former marine in Swagger’s unit, now living large in Texas an hour from the Swagger Ranch.
The trio will be joining a cast that includes Ryan Phillippe, Omar Epps, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Shantel VanSanten, Lexy Kolker, David Marciano and Beverly D’Angelo.
The second season begins on the 18th July on the USA Network.
