Godzilla King Of Monsters: O’Shea Jackson Jr. In Talks To Join Cast For Godzilla Sequel


Variety is exclusively reporting that O’Shea Jackson Jr. is in talks to join the cast of Legendary’s Godzilla sequel Godzilla: King of Monsters.

 

Michael Dougherty is set to direct the sequel, which he has also co-written the script with Zach Shields, Millie Bobby Brown will be making her big screen debut in the film set for a 2019 release. Details of the plot and Brown’s character is being kept under wraps for now.

 

The report doesn’t state what role O’Shea Jackson Jr. could have in the film, but he has received rave reviews for portraying his father, Ice Cube, in the 2015 NWA biopic Straight Outta Compton and will be appearing next in Ingrid Goes West and Den of Thieves. The premise of the sequel is still being kept under wraps at this point. So far attached to the project is Millie Bobby BrownKyle Chandler and Vera Farmiga.

 

Godzilla: God of Monsters is scheduled for cinematic release on the 22nd March 2019.
