The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Danny Glover is in talks to join the cast for Screen Gems thriller Proud Mary.
Taraji P. Henson will be playing a hit woman whose life is turned completely around when she meets a young boy who awakens in her a maternal instinct she never knew she had. Billy Brown’s role is unknown at this time.
The report doesn’t state what role Danny Glover (whose recent credits include Almost Christmas and Monster Trucks) will have if he agrees to join the cast. The only other person attached to the project along with Henson is Billy Brown. Babak Najafi (London Has Fallen) attached to direct on a script penned by John Stewart Newman and Christian Swegal, with Paul Schiff and Tai Duncan set to serve as Producers on the film.
