X-Men: Emma Dumont And Percy Hynes White Join Cast For Fox’s Marvel Pilot

The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Emma Dumont and Percy Hynes White are the latest names to join the cast for the untitled Marvel X-Men pilot at Fox.


The pilot, written by Matt Nix and directed by Bryan Singer, focuses on two ordinary parents who discover their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.


Emma Dumont (whose credits include Bunheads and Aquarius) will be playing the role of  Lorna Dane who is also known as Polaris, a strong-willed, brave and loyal mutant who has the ability to manipulate magnetism. Percy Hynes White (whose credits include 11.22.63 and Between) will be playing the role of Andy, a sensitive kid and bit of a loner, who keeps to himself to avoid the turmoil he faces at school and at home.


Matt Nix, Bryan Singer, Lauren Shuler Donner, Simon Kinberg, Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory executive produce for 20th TV and Marvel Television. Natalie Alyn Lind will be joining a cast that includes  Blair RedfordJamie Chung, Stephen Moyer, Sean Teale, Natalie Alyn Lind and Amy Acker.
