X-Men: Stephen Moyer Joins Cast For Fox’s Marvel Pilot


Deadline and The Hollywood Reporter are reporting that Stephen Moyer has joined the cast  for the untitled Marvel X-Men pilot at Fox.

 

The pilot, written by Matt Nix and directed by Bryan Singer, focuses on two ordinary parents who discover their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.

 

Stephen Moyer (whose credits include True Blood and Shots Fired) will be playing the role of the father of the mutant children, Reed, an ambitious attorney trying to balance the demands of his job at the DA’s office with his responsibilities to his family.

 

Stephen Moyer  joins already cast Blair Redford and Jamie Chung. Matt Nix, Bryan Singer, Lauren Shuler Donner, Simon Kinberg, Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory executive produce for 20th TV and Marvel Television.
