The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Vera Farmiga is the latest name to be joining the cast of Legendary’s Godzilla sequel Godzilla: King of Monsters.
Michael Dougherty is set to direct the sequel, which he has also co-written the script with Zach Shields, Millie Bobby Brown will be making her big screen debut in the film set for a 2019 release. Details of the plot and Brown’s character is being kept under wraps for now.
Whilst the main premise is being kept under wraps, we know that Vera Farmiga (whose recent credits include The Conjuring 2 and Bates Motel) will be playing the role of Millie Bobby Brown‘s mother and Kyle Chandler‘s wife. The THR report also states that Chandler is set to be the hero of the piece, playing a scientist.
Godzilla: God of Monsters is scheduled for cinematic release on the 22nd March 2019.
