The pilot is set to focus on a locally born and bred S.W.A.T. lieutenant who is torn between loyalty to the streets and duty to his fellow officers when he’s tasked to run a highly-trained unit that is the last stop for solving crimes in Los Angeles.
Stephanie Sigman (whose recent credits include Spectre and Narcos) will be playing the role of Jessica, who’s described as ambitious and fastidious, and has earned her high rank at S.W.A.T. headquarters. The pilot has been written by Aaron Rahsaan Thomas, who will serve as executive producers alongside Shawn Ryan, Marney Hochman, Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Danielle Woodrow and Justin Lin. The drama is a co-production between Sony Pictures Television and CBS Television Studios.
