The official synopsis for the film is as follows:
Humans and Transformers are at war, Optimus Prime is gone. The key to saving our future lies buried in the secrets of the past, in the hidden history of Transformers on Earth. Saving our world falls upon the shoulders of an unlikely alliance: Cade Yeager, Bumblebee, an English Lord and an Oxford Professor. There comes a moment in everyone’s life when we are called upon to make a difference. In Transformers: The Last Knight, the hunted will become heroes. Heroes will become villains. Only one world will survive: theirs, or ours.
While the trailer looks fine, it’s interesting how it keeps showing ‘evil’ Optimus Prime going against Bumblebee while the synopsis states that Optimus Prime is gone. Does it mean that the Prime attacking Bumblebee isn’t really the Optimus we know? Or be what some already believe which is that he’s brainwashed (robot-washed?)? Transformers: The Last Knight stars Mark Wahlberg, Laura Haddock,Stanley Tucci, Jerrod Carmichael, John Goodman, John Turturro, Josh Duhamel, Isabela Moner, Gil Birmingham, and Jean Dujardin.
Transformers: The Last Knight is scheduled for cinematic release on the 23rd June 2017.
