Stranger Things: Superbowl Spot For Season 2 Drops Online

TV News - Stranger Things - Superbowl Spot For Season 2 Drops OnlineNetflix released a spot during the Superbowl tonight for one of the biggest shows of 2016, Stranger Things, setting Season 2 to be available this Halloween.

Released on the streaming service Netflix over the summer, Stranger Things took us to Hawkins, Indiana in 1983, where one night a young boy named Will Byers vanishes into thin air. As friends, family and local police search for answers, they are drawn into an extraordinary mystery involving terrifying supernatural forces and one very strange little girl. The second season is set one year after these events, and will delve into the bigger mythology behind young Will Byers’ disappearance, Matt Duffer previously teased.

The TV spot doesn’t reveal much for the upcoming season other than it looks like we’ll definitely be going back to the Upside Down or see how it merges with the real world in this second season. I absolutely loved the first season before it turned into this phenomenon that the second season has a lot of hype to live up to.

Returning in the second season are Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Cara Buono, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery and Noah Schnapp along with newcomers Sadie SinkDacre MontgomeryPaul Reiser, Sean AstinLinnea Bethelsen and Brett Gelman.

The second season of Stranger Things will be available on Netflix’s streaming service in Halloween 2017.
