The Hollywood Reporter is exclusively reporting that Millie Bobby Brown has been cast in Legendary’s Godzilla sequel titled Godzilla: King of Monsters.
With the announcement a few days ago that Michael Dougherty is set to direct the sequel, which he has also co-written the script with Zach Shields, Millie Bobby Brown will be making her big screen debut in the film set for a 2019 release. Details of the plot and Brown’s character is being kept under wraps for now.
Millie Bobby Brown had a breakthrough year in 2016. After being in BBC series Intruders back in 2014, she’s had guest appearances on US shows NCIS, Modern Family and Grey’s Anatomy in 2015. Last year however Millie Bobby Brown and the young cast of Netflix’s Stranger Things received critic and publicly rave reviews on the show and their performances on the show.
Godzilla: God of Monsters is scheduled for cinematic release on the 22nd March 2019.
