Deadline reports that Xander Berkeley, Shea Whigham, Wynn Everett and Toby Huss are the latest names to be joining the cast of LAbyrinth, the Brad Furman-directed drama about the investigation into the murders of Tupac Shakur and Notorious BIG.
The film will focus on Russell Poole, a disgraced LAPD Detective who is unable to solve his biggest case…the murders of rappers Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G. ‘Jack’ Jackson, a journalist desperate to save his reputation and career, is determined to crack the case and teams up with Poole. As Poole relives the unbelievable story of power, corruption and crime, Jackson begins to unravel a growing web of scandal and deception. Relentless in their hunt for the truth, those two broken men threaten to crack the foundation of the LAPD all the while fighting for their own redemption.
The report unfortunately does not state as to what roles they will be playing in the upcoming film, but they will be joining a cast that includes Johnny Depp, Rockmond Dunbar, Forest Whitaker and Neil Brown Jr.
There is no cinematic release date as of yet for LAbyrinth.
