LAbyrinth: Forest Whitaker Joins Cast


Film News - LAbyrinth - Forest Whitaker Joins CastDeadline exclusively reports that Forest Whitaker will star alongside Johnny Depp in LAbyrinth, the Brad Furman-directed drama about the investigation into the murders of Tupac Shakur and Notorious BIG.

 

The film will focus on Russell Poole, a disgraced LAPD Detective who is unable to solve his biggest case…the murders of rappers Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G. ‘Jack’ Jackson, a journalist desperate to save his reputation and career, is determined to crack the case and teams up with Poole. As Poole relives the unbelievable story of power, corruption and crime, Jackson begins to unravel a growing web of scandal and deception. Relentless in their hunt for the truth, those two broken men threaten to crack the foundation of the LAPD all the while fighting for their own redemption.

 

Forest Whitaker is set to be attached in the journalist role of ‘Jack’ Jackson whilst Johnny Depp is attached to play Russell Poole. Also in the cast is Rockmond Dunbar.

 

There is no cinematic release date as of yet for LAbyrinth.
