Deadline reports that Necar Zadegan and Cameron Gellman are the latest names to be joining the cast of TNT pilot Let The Right One In, a vampire drama based on the best-selling novel by Swedish author John Ajvide Lindqvist.
Let The Right One In will have us follow a young boy named Henry, who has long been tormented by his classmates, finds solace in a friendship with a charismatic vampire named Eli, who appears to be near his age, though her actual age is unknown. Lonely and friendless, Eli lands in an apartment building in Vermont and soon begins a strange friendship with Henry who has no idea what kind of creature he’s dealing with.
Necar Zadegan will be playing the role of FBI Special Agent Sarah Church, who heads to the Canadian border after three border patrol agents are found exsanguinated. She soon learns that a remarkably sly and deadly serial killer has been murdering across Europe for the last decade and has now relocated to North America. Cameron Gellman will be playing the role of attractive bad boy Kyle, who despite appearances is not a bully and is in fact quite friendly to Henry, and thinks he should try to stand up for himself and be more aggressive against his teenage tormentors.
The script for the pilot will be penned by Teen Wolf creator Jeff Davis, who will serve as an Executive Producer alongside Marty Adelstein, Becky Clements from Tomorrow Studios and Simon Oakes from Hammer Films. Necar Zadegan (whose credits include Extant and Girlfriends’ Guide To Divorce) and Cameron Gellman (whose credits include Days of Our Lives and 20th Century Women) will join a cast that includes Kristine Froseth, Benjamin Wadsworth and Thomas Kretschmann.
