Narcos: Arturo Castro And Kerry Bishé Join Cast For Season 3

tv-news-narcos-arturo-castro-and-kerry-bishe-join-cast-for-season-3Deadline reports that Arturo Castro and Kerry Bishé are the latest names to be joining the cast of Narcos for the upcoming third season on Netflix.

Set and filmed in Columbia, the series had us follow notorious drug kingpin Pablo Escobar over the course of the first two seasons, who became a billionaire through the production and distribution of cocaine, while also focusing on Escobar’s interactions with drug lords, DEA agents, and various opposition entities. Now after the death of Pablo, we will now be following the hunt for the Cali Cartel, which was the opposing cartel to Escobar.

Arturo Castro will be playing the role of David Rodriguez, Miguel’s oldest son, who is reluctant at first to take a leading role in the cartel structure, though as his Uncle and Father are arrested, he must take over. Kerry Bishé will be playing the role of Christina, an American woman who met her Columbian husband in college. As she witnesses her husband get deeper involved in the cartel and things start to go badly for the people around them, she knows that she needs to get her family out, turning to the US Embassy for help. The news just comes shortly after it was announced that Michael Stahl-David and Matt Whelan had joined the cast in series regular roles for Season 3. Castro will be a series regular and Bishé will be recurring.

Narcos Season 3 will be available on Netflix sometime in 2017.
