Deadline is reporting that Phoebe Dynevor is the latest name to be joining the cast of the new series for Sony’s streaming network Crackle, Snatch, based on the 2000 Guy Ritchie film of the same name.
Inspired on a real life heist in London, Snatch will focus on a group of twenty-something, up-and-coming hustlers who stumble upon a truck load of stolen gold bullion and become suddenly thrusted into the high-stakes world of organised crime where they must quickly learn to navigate the treacherous waters of London’s underworld as rogue cops, gypsy fighters, international mobsters and local villains descend upon them.
It makes clear in the report that no character details were given for the role in which Dynevor will play, whose credits include Waterloo Road, The Village and Dickensian. She will be joining a cast that includes Rupert Grint (Charlie Cavendish), Dougray Scott (Vic Hill), Ed Westwick (Sonny Castillo), Luke Pasqualino (Albert Hill) and Lucien Laviscount (Billy ‘Fuckin’ Ayers).
Snatch is set to premiere on Crackle in 2017.
