The Hollywood Reporter exclusively reports that Sophie Turner has joined the cast of Huntsville, a film based on a 2014 Black List script by Anthony Ragnone.
Eric England has been attached to direct the film, with the story focusing on Hank, a solitary man living in a dull existence in a sleepy Florida town who raises eyebrows when he develops a questionable relationship with Josie, a recently transplanted High School student.
Sophie Turner (whose credits include Game of Thrones and X-Men: Apocalypse) will be playing the role of Josie, while Dylan McDermott (whose credits include American Horror Story and Stalker) will be playing the role of Hank. Also cast in the film is Jack Kilmer.
Production is scheduled to begin this month in and around Los Angeles, with Waterstone Entertainment’s Jeff Kalligheri and Stephen Bowen serving as Producers alongside Traveling Picture Show Co.’s Kevin Matusow, Carissa Buffel, Steven Chester Prince, Luisa Iskin, Kim Leadford, Ash Sarohia and John Wunder.
