The Hollywood Reporter exclusively reports that Warner Bros. have picked up a Tinder comedy from the writing duo behind Think Like A Man and Friends With Benefits.
The romantic comedy with some action elements is said to focus on two people in Los Angeles that go on a Tinder date that spirals into a night of one disaster after disaster — and, of course, they fall for one another in the process. The film has been pitched by screenwriters Keith Merryman and David A. Newman, with Denise Di Novi and Alison Greenspan attached as Producers, with Niija Kuykendall and Julia Spiro are overseeing for the project for the studio.
Sources state that part of the inspiration for the project was one of Spiro’s own bad dates. There’s no casting announcement or cinematic release details as of yet.
