Deadline exclusively reports that Abraham Attah is the latest to be joining the cast of Sony and Marvel Studios film Spider-Man: Homecoming.
The 15-year-old has signed up for the film after his breakout role and stunning performance in Cary Fukunaga’s Beasts Of No Nation, which he starred alongside Idris Elba. The report doesn’t states who Attah will be playing in the Jon Watts directed film, as the premise is being kept under wraps but production has begun this week.
So far in the cast for Spider-Man: Homecoming we have Tom Holland (Peter Parker/Spider-Man), Marisa Tomei (Aunt May),Robert Downey Jr (Tony Stark/Iron Man), Zendaya (Michelle) Tony Revolori, Laura Harrier, Michael Barbieri, Michael Keaton, Kenneth Choi, Donald Glover, Martin Starr and Logan Marshall-Green. I’m hoping that Attah will have a good role in this film or one that could be more pivotal as this incarnation of Spider-Man grows over the next five to six years (without another reboot please).
Spider-Man: Homecoming is scheduled for cinematic release on the 7th July 2017.
