TV News - Blindspot - Archie Panjabi Lands Recurring Role For Season 2Media outlets are reporting today that Archie Panjabi will appear in the second season of Blindspot in a recurring role.


Archie Panjabi (known for her role in The Good Wife) will be playing the head of a secret division of the NSA that has been tracking the Jane Doe case from afar. Blindspot has been a freshman hit for NBC which we follow Jane Doe, a woman with no memories of her past and is found in Times Square with her body completely covered in tattoos. Her discovery catches the attention of the FBI, especially in connection with FBI Agent Kurt Weller, as the begin to follow the road map of her tattoos into a larger conspiracy of crime, while also bringing her closer to discovering the truth about her identity.


Executive Producer Martin Gero, had this to say about what to expect from the shows second season:

We’ve come up with a really good and organic way that the show can operate in a similar fashion to how it did in the first season, but with a lot more stakes and being a lot more complicated. We get back into the Jane Doe business in a really interesting way in the beginning of season 2.
