Legends Of Tomorrow: Nick Zano To Play Citizen Steel In Season 2

TV News - Legends Of Tomorrow - Nick Zano To Play Citizen Steel In Season 2Deadline exclusively reports that Nick Zano has signed up as a series regular for the second season of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow on the CW.

Nick Zano (2 Broke Girls and Minority Report) is set to be playing Dr. Nate Heywood, a historian whose grandfather was Commander Steel, a member of the Justice Society of America. In DC Comics, Nate becomes Steel/Citizen Steel, a former member of the Justice League of America. While the producers of the CW series aren’t fully confirming on whether Nate will follow in his grandfather’s footsteps and become a superhero in his own right, the report by Deadline believes that it’s almost certain that he will, especially since the season 1 finale hinted that there will be a strong JSA tie-in throughout season 2.

Nate Heywood is one of two new series regular roles in the upcoming season of Legends of Tomorrow, joining cast members Arthur Darvill (Rip Hunter), Brandon Routh (Ray Palmer/The Atom), Dominic Purcell (Mick Rory/Heatwave), Caity Lotz (Sara Lance/White Canary), Franz Drameh (Jefferson ‘Jax’ Jackson/Firestorm), Victor Garber (Dr. Martin Stein) and new season 2 cast member Patrick J. Adams (Hourman). Still no word yet as to who will be playing Vixen in the second season of Legends of Tomorrow.
