Deadline exclusively reports that Diego Klattenhoff and Charlotte Sullivan are set to star in sci-fi thriller from Epic Pictures and EMAfilms called Radius.
Epic Pictures and EMAfilms teamed up previously for 2015 cult film Turbo Kid and they will be working on the script penned by Caroline Labrèche and Steeve Léonard, with the duo also directing this film, with shooting commencing at Manitoba later this week.
The synopsis for Radius is as follows:
Radius centres on a young man who wakes from a car crash with no memory of who he is. As he makes his way into town to look for help, he finds only dead bodies, all with strange pale eyes. At first believing a deadly virus is in the air, he soon soon discovers the horrific truth which sets in motion an unbelievable chain of events.
Anne-Marie Gelinas and Benoit Beaulieu from EMAfilms are serving as Producers, with Anouk Whissell, Yoann-Karl Whissell and Francois Simard are Executive Producing along with Stéphanie Trépanier. Diego Klattenhoff’s credits include Pacific Rim, Homeland and The Blacklist and Charlotte Sullivan’s credits include Rookie Blue, Defendor and The Colony.
Well the premise has me intrigued and with the same creative heads being involved behind the scenes of Turbo Kid coming together once again to work behind the scenes here, Radius could be a dark horse of a film once it gets released.
