Last week we it announced that Jonah Hex will be making an appearance in the upcoming DC/CW Series DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and today the CW have announced that Johnathon Schaech will be playing the gunslinger.
The character for the show has been described as follows:
Jonah Hex is a legend of the Old West, a morally ambiguous gunslinger with a penchant for danger. Surprisingly, he knows a thing or too about time travel and the future, but is at home in the Wild West. He’s been battling outlaws and gangs for a while now and advises the team to be extra careful when they arrive in the small town of Salvation.
Jonah Hex will be appearing in the 11th episode of Legends of Tomorrow’s first season run.
Johnathon Schaech has appeared on the big screen in films such as Quarantine and The Legend of Hercules whilst appearing on the small screen in shows like Texas Rising, To Appomattox and more recently Quantico. Indeed I have not seen these films or shows that Schaech has appeared in (other than forgetting to mention his appearances in Ray Donovan) I’m intrigued to see his portrayal of Jonah Hex on the show.
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow premiere is on the 21st January 2016 stateside.
