Legends of Tomorrow: Jonah Hex To Appear In An Epsiode

TV News - Legends of Tomorrow - Jonah Hex To Make An AppearanceThe DC/CW Universe seems to be going all in, literally, with Legends of Tomorrow as the time-travelling show will introduce Jonah Hex in an episode.

Reported from EW,  the spinoff of Arrow and The Flash will pay a visit to the Old West in the later half of it’s freshman season, where the group will encounter the iconic DC Comics antihero Jonah Hex, a Civil War veteran turned bounty hunter with a horribly disfigured face and a deep moral code that is also known as the deadliest man alive. In the report it indicates that the character will appear in episode 11, with the possibility to recur, though there was no indication as to who would be playing Jonah Hex.

Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim said:

Ever since we decided that ‘Legends’ would involve time travel, we were eager to do a story set in the Old West. But if you’re going to do a story set in the DC Universe version of the Old West, you simply MUST include Jonah Hex in it. We’re thrilled about bringing another well known, beloved DC character to television.

Jonah Hex did get his solo feature film, whether we want to admit its existence or not, back in 2010 with Josh Brolin playing the character.

I’m over the stage of being surprised by any character announcements/appearances for the upcoming Legends of Tomorrow and I’m just going sit back and await to embrace the utter madness of it all with the main cast and the other side DC characters that it’ll introduce to the viewing audience. I’ll be keenly interested to see who is playing Jonah Hex on the show.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will premiere stateside on the 21st January 2016.
